I'm John6553; I'd like to introduce myself to the AssistedKnive.com. I'm new to the forum. This is my first chance to say hello. I joined, like everyone else, because I really like knives. Always have since as long as I can remember. I bought my first knife when I was 5 or 6 years old. There was an offer in my Bazooka Bubble Gum comic for a small Bowie style knife with a compass on the handle and it came with a leather sheath; it cost me ten cents and a three cent stamp. I still have that knife. I recently started collecting automatics: stiletto's, leverlocks, OTF, swing guard of various sizes and handles. I'm here to learn more about knives. I would like to learn how repair, modify and to make my own knives. I've seen some really great looking creations, true art pieces with beautiful blades and outstanding handles. I hope display my works some day on this site.
